My laptop updated windows 10 last week but since then I have been unable to play sound through my hdmi cable to my tv. This means I can’t watch netflix or youtube videos. I had a look in the Sound box and then at Playback. In that box only my computer speakers appear. My tv is not there. Windows 10 update disables slow start-up and removes the bios button on troubleshooting, hence, there is no way to get to your bios. In fast start-up it is not loading everything needed to run your computer correctly, for instance your sound. Why did Windows do such a thing. Fix it please. That was the nice way of saying what I wanted to say. Oh, btw the check mark on fast start-up does absolutely nothing, un checking it does nothing at all.
