I had the same problem with Windows 10 Pro 64 bit. I had to download 7-zip free open source and extract HP’s compressed file with it. Then I started the installer manually from the extracted folder and everything worked great. I have the same issue and have tried every solution in this topic and the install software ends after I make selections the three screens for the desired type of install.
